I started this blog to give you a place to practice English at home. It's very important for you to practice English outside of class, and you can find some great tools and websites here to help you do that.
Let me tell you a little about myself.
My name is Stewart Whitney and I'm from Australia. I come from a small town called Pottsville. There are a lot of nice beaches around Pottsville. There's also a beautiful river and a lot of very pretty countryside. I've been living in Japan for 18 years. I love Kobe because it's a big city, but it still feels like a small town.
I love music. I play the bass guitar and the drums, and I sing in the car. I listen to a lot of Australian rock music. My favorite bands are Hard Ons, Frenzal Rhomb, Front End Loader, You Am I and Froffybait. I also like cooking, watching television and studying. Yes, that's right, studying. I try to learn something new about teaching every day.
